Research Experience

My research focuses on development of specimen room-based tools for electrocardiogram analysis of wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced hyperlipidaemia in coronary heart disease study. I improved the ECG recording process by making specimen room-based tools, thus facilitating the process of retrieving ECG wave data with the Wireless Mice Electrocardiogram (WIM ECG). Moreover, I treated a high-fat diet in animal models and compared the ECG waves with the lipid profile. From this study, it is hoped that ECG recording using the specimen room and WIM ECG will continue to grow and further studies will be conducted on heart disease in small mammals in Indonesia.

Skills

I also have experience working at Biosafety Level 2 (BSL 2) Laboratory. I proficient use some laboratory equipment and doing tests in the lab, such as Blood Cells, plasma, and serum Isolation; Blood Assays; Animal handling for such certain experiment (Injection, Gavage, etc.); RNA and DNA extraction; PCR and RT-qPCR; Gel Electrophoresis; SDS-PAGE; UV/Vis Spectrophotometry; pH meter; Micropipetting; Centrifuge; Microplate Reader; Basic Microbiology; Light microscope, stereo microscope, and inverted microscope; and I am familiar with western blotting, statistical analysis (SPSS, R-studio), and basic bioinformatics software.
