Biotechnology Master’s Accreditation
Biotechnology at SITH ITB focuses on education and research, emphasizing molecular, cellular, tissue, and systems engineering, while adding value to biological products through the application of cutting-edge technologies. Biotechnology students can develop research skills and analytical abilities in three elective fields: medical, industrial, and agricultural biotechnology. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in a Double Degree program with Osaka University. Internationalization activities are also conducted through guest lectures delivered by experts from various countries. Double Degree dengan Osaka University. The educational process in the Biotechnology Study Program aims to produce graduates with high competencies, particularly in research topics undertaken in their Thesis. These research topics may include basic research aimed at publication in reputable journals, or applied research directly relevant to industrial applications.
The Biotechnology Study Program is committed to further enhancing education through research designed to address global challenges, offering solutions that can be implemented locally or derived from Indonesia’s rich biodiversity. The program also seeks to expand collaborative networks in education and research with academia, industry, government, and community partners. Together, we aim to advance the field of Biotechnology as part of the solution in bioindustry, biomedicine, and agriculture.
