Interest : Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Molecular Breeding and Metabolomic
Research Experience
My research focuses on molecular marker (SNP or Single Nucleotide Polymorphism”) and metabolite content (Curcuminoid) in 43 Turmeric accessions from various regions in Indonesia. I conducted the GWAS (Genome Wide Association Study) method with a bioinformatics tools to analyze the relationship between genetic diversity (SNP) and metabolite content. This study helped identify potential SNPs and categorize the accessions based on their curcuminoid levels.. The findings aim to contribute to the future molecular breeding of Indonesian turmeric.
Skills
DNA/RNA extraction, Plant metabolite extraction, bioinformatic analysis (Genomic, GWAS, Metagenomic, and Metabolomic), plant tissue culture, PCR, NGS (Nanopore Sequencing), gel electrophoresis, HPLC, Bioinformatic software such as R Studio, MEGA, BioEdit, PyMOL.
Testimonial
