In this research, I applied solid-state fermentation using the white-rot fungus Marasmiellus sp. for the pretreatment of OPEFB. Post-pretreatment, lipid production by R. toruloides using the pretreated OPEFB medium was conducted under various feeding conditions to optimize lipid yield. To analyze the lipid yield produced, I employed the Folch method for lipid extraction, ensuring accurate quantification of the produced lipid.
