This enzyme is being developed with the hope of having the same therapeutic effect as rhACE2, but using the E. coli BL21 (DE3) expression system, which requires less time and lower costs. I performed the transformation of a plasmid containing the ACE2-like enzyme into E. coli, optimized the culture conditions for producing the ACE2-like enzyme, purified the enzyme (including protein refolding since it is insoluble), and demonstrated that the ACE2-like enzyme has a therapeutic effect for COVID-19.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Skills<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">SDS-PAGE, Transformation, PCR, Western Blotting, Aseptic technique, Cell culture, Protein Purification, Protein Refolding, ELISA<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Testimonial<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It has been a wonderful experience studying in the Biotechnology program.
