E-mail : raipujia27@gmail.com
Interest : Animal cell and tissue engineering, scaffold fabrication, plant tissue culture
Research Experience
My research focuses on the fabrication of scaffolds made from human amniotic membrane (hAM), which are subsequently seeded with Human Dermal Fibroblast (HDF) cells as an alternative to accelerate wound healing. The scaffolds in my study were developed by incorporating various concentrations of spidroin and fibroin bioinks to create scaffolds that effectively support HDF cell growth. Based on this research, it was found that the hAM scaffold coated with 50 mg/mL of spidroin was the most effective, showing the best results in supporting HDF cell growth and demonstrating potential for further development in skin tissue engineering compared to other scaffolds in this study.
Skills
Animal cell culture, primary cell culture, fabrication of human amniotic membrane (hAM) scaffold, extraction of spider web (spidroin), degumming & extraction of silkworm cocoon (fibroin), immunocytochemistry (using confocal microscope).
