Interest : Recombinant protein expression in E. coli, Bioprocess engineering, and Bioinformatic

Research Experience
During my Master’s studies, my research focused on recombinant protein expression in Escherichia coli BL21. My thesis, titled Construction and Optimisation of Bst DNA Polymerase Enzyme Production in Escherichia coli BL21 (DE3), aimed to express and optimize the production of the Bst DNA polymerase enzyme in E. coli BL21. Through this research, I gained fundamental skills in expression vector cloning, transformation, production, and purification of recombinant proteins in Escherichia coli. I also employed bioprocess engineering approaches to optimize protein production.

In addition, I completed a bioinformatics mini-project titled Anti-viral Drug Discovery Against Human Monkeypox Virus (MPXV) by Local Natural Compounds: An Ethno-Bioinformatic Drug Design Approach, where I developed skills in 3D protein modeling, molecular docking, and drug-like compound analysis.
