Research Experience
I have been involved in several microbiology and molecular genetic research projects, spanning a variety of topics. In 2024, I worked on the application of nanoemulsions based on biosurfactants and cinnamon essential oil as antibiofilm agents against *Candida albicans* on teeth. In 2022, I developed a bioaugmentation formula for degrading household organic waste, aimed at improving waste management and sustainability. From 2020 to 2021, I isolated and identified oil-degrading bacteria found in the *schmutzdecke* layer of slow sand filters in food court wastewater treatment systems. Previously, from 2019 to 2020, I focused on identifying microbes in the *schmutzdecke* layer of slow sand filters in domestic wastewater treatment. My earlier work in 2018 involved the identification of Basidiomycota species in the Tegal Bunder and Ambyarsari regions of West Bali National Park.

Testimonial
The Master’s Program in Biotechnology at ITB offers an incredible range of research opportunities that align with contemporary developments in the field. It has been a great platform for growth, particularly in terms of research. The learning process is highly interactive, with engaging two-way discussions between lecturers and students, along with problem-solving sessions based on real-world case studies. This approach has been particularly beneficial for my academic development. The faculty members are exceptional, offering significant support and guidance, and the strong bond between faculty and peers has fostered a collaborative and effective learning environment. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to study at ITB, where both the lecturers and fellow students have played an integral role in my academic journey.
