Research Experience
My recent research has focused on the development of a streamlined production and purification strategy for recombinant Taq DNA polymerase in E. coli BL21(DE3). Through optimization of temperature, induction conditions, and purification methods, I successfully reduced process time while maintaining enzyme activity. This research highlights my ability to manage complex biotechnological projects, from molecular cloning using Gibson Assembly to the development of efficient purification techniques, such as solvent precipitation. The research resulted in a significantly higher yield of functional Taq DNA polymerase, making the process more time-efficient and effective for potential industrial applications.
